There must be a Black Hole out there in the ether chomping merrily away on abandoned and neglected websites, and I sincerely hope that yours isn’t one of them, because this Black Hole is eating any chance you have of earning money from it too! I have been doing some research for a client who has just launched a new product and wanted me to try and track some good affiliates to promote it. So armed with a bucket load of relevant keywords and phrases I started to troll the search engines, and Oh Boy what I found amazed me, nay, shocked me! I came across many a good prospect with great looking sites, affiliate links and what at first glance looked like good social media activity. Then I started to apply the criteria I use for assessing whether the website owner would be right for my client; the first of which is to check on the date of the last ‘recent’ post and if this isn’t pretty current I click away. So what! I hear you mumbling at me; well if I click away so will any potential customers, that’s what.
I realize that there are many reasons why folk give up and abandon their websites and blogs, many just don’t have the time to spare and are too busy with other areas of their businesses. But others must truly be just not bothered, thinking once their website is out there that’s all they need to do; which most of you will already know is simply not the case. The biggest reason my clients come to me is that they don’t have the time but they can be bothered. They don’t want to throw money away nor leave the market open to their competitors, they know that they have a good product or service and they realize that the cost of outsourcing will easily be recovered by sales.
So, if your website is sitting there waiting for the next Black Hole to come along and gobble it up, give yourself a few moments to think of the money you could be leaving on the table and then do something about it! With the New Year soon to dawn over the horizon it is the perfect time to take action, so why not make yourself a resolution right now to get that website back on track.
PS … if you know of any good affiliates who would fancy finding out more and perhaps talking to my client about his affiliate store (health, well-being, weight loss, etc.) send me a message either here or on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn and I’ll put them in touch.

As you know, I’ve always been somewhat of a traffic generation“enthusiast” like many of you that read this blog. We’re all in the same boat when it comes to running an online business– you need traffic if you want to make any money. After all, you can’t generate any subscribers, sales, or affiliate commissions if you don’t first have visitors hitting your website.
Of course, this also means that I, much like you, have gone through tons of traffic courses over the years. We’re talking eBooks, reports, membership sites, several thousand dollar home study courses, blogs, articles, etc.
I’ve struggled with at least half of the information I get, both paid and free, being of horrendous quality, being untested, or just flat
out being ineffective. Luckily, this week I came across a new course called The Complete Guide To Traffic which was put together by Paul Smithson over at Intellimon.
Let me just get right to the point and say that this thing is flat out awesome! Without beating around the bush, I’ll just share what the 6 biggest “turn-ons” were for me when it came to The Complete Guide To Traffic…
1) 26 Highly Detailed Traffic Modules – These modules go through 26 highly effective traffic generation strategies that allow you to
generate long-term, reliable traffic to your websites, blogs, affiliate URLs, or any other link you can think of!
2) Over 50 Hours Of High Grade, Professional Tuition – The videos included are unlike ANY video product I’ve ever seen. These videos are extremely high quality, well planned, and the production quality is certainly setting a new standard in the traffic training market. These videos are truly a treat to watch.
3) All Encompassing & Totally Complete – You can purchase the whole thing – or just one specific traffic training method. There is no extra course, advanced version up sell, “part 2,” or anything like that. This course comes with every traffic method you’ve ever heard of covered in great detail, and some you probably haven’t heard of!
4) Well Planned Out, Progressive, and Ethical – Each module covers a separate traffic strategy. That’s 26 easy to implement traffic
strategies. Each one is presented in a way that builds on the previous module and which also prepares you for the next so that when you get through each of the modules, you will be an undeniable traffic generating master. These traffic ideas are ethical and will show you how to generate traffic for the long-term – Not just fly-by-night traffic disasters that could get you banned by Google.
5) A Professional Learning Platform! – The training platform that The Complete Guide To Traffic is presented in is not only
visually appealing, it’s highly stable. In a world when many people are slapping their courses up on static web pages or behind confusing membership software, this system makes watching the training a breeze. Forget wasting time fighting with “getting to” the content.
6) Bonuses To Die For – If you spend over $100, you receive an incredible bonus which is in itself, a complete traffic generating course. The value which is added by the bonus is unlike any other bonus package I’ve seen and is something you’ll actually use.
The final call…
There are a lot of positive aspects to The Complete Guide To Traffic but it all comes down to this…
The Complete Guide To Traffic isn’t “one piece of the puzzle” or one of “many steps” to getting traffic. It’s the *only* traffic generation course that you will EVER need. As you go through the course, you’ll not only notice immediate traffic coming in, you’ll also have a long-term plan for getting traffic indefinitely. This is because of the huge amount of traffic tactics you’ll be learning (and
implementing) as you go through the system.
If you want the kind of traffic that builds long-term, lifelong businesses, you need to click here and get The Complete Guide To
Traffic now!
We all have differing views of how we operate on social networking websites such as Facebook and Twitter and we all use different tools to make our lives easier when we do. However if I have one pet hate it’s robot posting, not scheduled posting, that’s fine because as marketers we all live to tight schedules and surprisingly enough may fancy a day or two away (shocking I know!). No, its the auto-post your Tweets on to Facebook that gets me going. Let me be more precise, it’s the tweets that get posted onto Facebook that are in Twitter # @ language that I detest. Facebook isn’t Twitter and Twitter isn’t Facebook and to a friend (nay, potential customer) on Facebook your Twitter message doesn’t mean a darn thing and to me it’s simply not social etiquette.
There are so many shortcuts to share/schedule your postings to both Facebook and Twitter or any other social networking site come to that, that there is no need to mix the two and totally baffle your friends and clients, why talk to them in a foreign language! Be polite to them, talk to and share things with them in a format that suits the platform your on at the time.
So my message to you is to treat your friends and clients with some social etiquette, don’t they deserve those extra seconds of your time, I think they do and you may be surprised at how much more they appreciate you for it!
